This is a discussion on :D Official Nexus Rooted Converts Thread :D within the Nexus One Development & Hacking forums, part of the Nexus One category; loly triple post bro, you a little exicted?...
I believe the photos were intentionally doctored.
I do not believe the photos were doctored on purpose. It could have been an accident.
I am undecided until more evidence comes forth.
We should have a section in the forums dedicated for rooted users!

Can somebody explain the new recovery (Amon_RA 1.7.0)? Does it wipe everything? How complicated of an install is it? Rooting was hair-raising enough and I can't afford anymore grey hairs.
It was easy as pie! And it didn't wipe anything :D AND! It looks awesome
My sigs keep getting
Easy to install & wipes nothing. Just replaces your current recovery image. You can use terminal emulator to install it. Easy as it gets. That's what I did. You can use this video as a guide.

i just followed this guide
Step by Step Guide on How to Install Cyanogen Mod ROM on your Nexus One! | Nexus One Hacks Blog
and after i flashed it just hangs on the X
i tried doing a nand restore, same thing
any help anyone?
Anyone else had any problems rebooting after an apparently successful root and install of Cyanagen 18.104.22.168 for N1?
Everything completes sucessfully when I flash the SD card images but upon reboot, I get the :nexusx: with the unlocked padlock below it for ever.
I have tried re-downoading all the files and have checked the md5 checksums on all the downloads and I've tried to reflash about five times now.
It can boot to fastboot and shows *** UNLOCKED *** at the top of the screen
RA-nexus-v1.7.0 loads and allows me to flash:
Both report completed "Install from sdcard complete.", however I still can't boot.
