I just have had my Nexus One returned after getting it fixed because of the dust under the screen problem. When I got it back it was a factory reset (as I expected) but seemed to have a new ROM, better even than the update I had got in early February. For example, on my calendar, UK specific dates have now appeared (St.Patrick's Day, May Day, August Bank Holiday etc). Pinch to zoom is working far better. Previously, my pinch to zoon did not re-size text on webpages. It does now. Generally it appears far nippier and smooth.
A happy Nexus Oner!

The public holidays thing isn't to do with the ROM it's a function of Google Calendar, if you load it up in the browser, you'll find it under Settings => Calendars => Browse Interesting Calendars
