    I have a stock, non-rooted T-Mobile Nexus 1

I downloaded the frf72 file through the browser on the phone, renamed it update.zip and placed it in the sdcard folder

Powered down, selected Recovery, pushed the power button and volume up and got this message:

    E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command

I scroll down to apply sdcard:ipdate.zip and get:

    E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip
    (Status 7)
    Installation aborted.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thanks for the help in advance.

When you rename it don't name it Update.zip.... just name it Update.

I did that, I quess I didn't clarify it enough in my post. lol, sorry

I just read though that you need to have frf50 before you can update to frf72...

Soooo, where can I get frf50? I have tried a few links but they were either invalid or wouldn't work.

    Thanks!

Don't forget to remove the FRF72 from your SD card before updating to FRF50. After updating to 50, delete 50 from card, and then redo with 72. Some people tried with both on the card. You will get an error with both on it at the same time.
