    New Android 2.2 Build Released - FRF72

Google has released a new build of Android 2.2, release FRF72. The file can be downloaded from: http://android.clients.google.com/pa...0.bc033f9e.zip

Follow these steps to test it out (at your own risk)!

    1. Once itís downloaded, rename it update.zip. Make sure you donít name it update.zip.zip
    2. Place the file in the root of your SD card.
    3. Turn on your phone while holding power + trackball, this will take you to the bootloader.
    4. In the bootloader press the power button.
    5. Press volume down to highlight the recovery option.
    6. When you see the triangle with an exclamation point symbol, press the Power and Volume Up buttons at the same time.
    7. From the menu that appears, select Apply sdcard: update.zip.
    8. When you get the prompt that says update successful, select reboot and enjoy Froyo.

I'm thinking this will be the OTA since South Korea is getting Nexus' in stores starting Monday, and it is being released WITH 2.2 already installed. Either way we should be getting the OTA next week.

The only battery issue I found with the 2.2 upgrade is the auto backlight. I keep it on the lowest setting unless absolutely needed and the battery issue goes away. :nexusx:

What are you Quadrant Standard results with this build? I'm guessing that's going to be a bit higher. :nexusx:

A lil better than what I was getting on FRF50 OC'd to 1113 but not by much. Kinda disappointing I thought it'd be better but No complaints, its still Crazy Fast
