    im drooling just at seeing the words "Nexus Two" If it's true, I'm buying it no matter who the phone developer is.. but I kind of like having a "rare" phone, so that when people see it, they're like "OMG.. what phone is THAT?" when they see the N1

    I like having a phone that is made by Google (ok not made, but you get the point).

    As long as the N2 is better than the N1 in all aspects, I'd get one, otherwise: No.

    Something the N2 MUST retain:
    * good build quality (so some metal, not plastic and preferably Unibody)
    * large flashing indicator (the trackball can go, but it definitely needs a large LED indicator)
    * all the software goodies :D

    Something that needs to be improved:
    * I would like a bit more battery life
    * FIX/REPLACE THE TOUCH SENSOR

    Something that i would like for the N2:
    * High res S-AMOLED screen (Retina display kicking high res I mean :D) or perhaps a high res Quattron LED screen from Sharp (I know they only exist on large monitors. But I can dream...)
    * Gyroscope! (Seems useful )
    * MORE MARKETING. No need to use hyperboles, just let people know this phone exists.

    Honestly, the N1 is a well rounded phone, it is actually hard to improve on something that is already VERY good.
    Galaxy Nexus? I like Nexus prime more. Even the code name "Maguro" seemed cooler.

    I can see why N2 would be rumored to be a Samsung phone. Have you seen those Quandrant benchmark scores the Sammy's are getting? I understand why Google would want to go with a Hummingbird CPU. Smartphone Benchmarks - Compare and submit performance benchmark speeds of HTC, Motorola, Samsung, LG, Sony Ericsson and other smartphones

    Does anyone have a link with any kinds of details or should I just go watch that HTC Desire HD marketing video again for my daily gadget porn?

    I would believe this more if it was Motorola than Samsung. There has never been any indication that Google has worked with Samsung on anything. There's more proof that Gingerbread will be running on some new released Motorola than Samsung, meaning that Google is working more closely with Motorola lately than any other mfr. More importantly the Galaxy S still has yet to even receive any 2.2 upgrades. You would think that if Google and Samsung was working closely, that the 2.2 would have had faster upgrades as it been shown in the past that Google will favor faster development tools for HTC and Motorola to release updates quicker than the other Mfr.

    Personally, I know the Samsung GS are underrated, but I WOULD NOT want my Nexus Two to be developed under Samsung, let alone Motorola. BUT, I would not object in getting one if they stick to the unsubsidized value they have been for the Nexus One. I would not even be opposed to getting a Captivate if it wasn't touched by AT&T dirty hands.

    Lastly, I do not care about bench test if the overall function of a phone sucks.

    Word up. I swore never to even look at a Samsung again after getting the Memoir. Total crap.
