    No fret.

The internal memory is looked at like an SD card (storage). There's internal memory (for the OS) than there's memory (storage) then there's would be an external memory (SD) if this had the slot avail
Ok thanks truth that aswers my bigest issue with the lack of an SD card slot.

No micro SD port? For me, it's still not enought since i'm using my device for working purpose + multimedia (song & movie). Currently, i'm using Nokia N900 with 48GB memory (internal memory 32GB + SD memory 16GB) and then only feel safe to have such document for working purpose + entertainment.

Anyway, i'm sure gonna grab this Nexus 'S if it's AVAILABLE IN MALAYSIA..!! since the earlier device, Nexus One not for sale in Malaysia, i just grab the Nokia N900 (it's an awesome device!!)

I decidedly do not agree with the point "it's done for the users who want simplicity". Users looking for simplicity should indeed buy iPhone and and not bother. The main thing about Android devices (at least for me) and what makes them different from Apple devices, are their flexibility and configurability. And this "simplification" kills it. Google should think deeper regarding positioning their devices on market.

I love having an SD card for one I can change stuff on the SD card like add music and such without the sinc cable (I have a card reader on my computer). Also with no SD card slot can you even flash ROMs cause I thought they had to be on the SD card or is that just the nexus one cause it doesn`t have enough internal space? Another thing is how do you add memory if you don`t think you have enough I know that 16GB is plenty
but still if you want to add some your screwed that is what they are saying?

EDIT: I will probably still buy but first I need some more cash

This is a major mistake. Part of what "frees" you from Apple is customization and expansion as you need it. Taking away the SD card is proof that someone at Samsung and Google need to be fired.

Also who actually takes the time to turn off their phone, take off the case, take out the battery just to take out the SD Card on their Nexus. Don't most of you just plug and transfer? I mean honestly if you have over a Gig of apps on your phone that's incredible.

With that said, however, I do agree it would be nice to have an expandable slot.
AITT, the only reason that I don't have an SD card larger than 16GB (I do have a 16GB card) is that they are currently hard to come by at a reasonable price. But that changes with time. If I could get a reasonably priced 32 GB cards, I would.

And Yes, I do sometimes remove my card to put it into a card reader. It's a heck of a lot faster than using USB (which take the card offline anyway).

I like to put a lot of my music on the phone (my iPod see little use these days). So some of us really don't want a phone without an SD slot.

I don't disagree with y'all about the removing of the sd card slot. But for me it's not a big deal. But I would like for any of my phones to have that option however.
