Installed! I definitely like the new look of the Market. Inclined not to like the 15 minute refund policy, but for now open-minded about it.
Thanks for the tip, Truth!

Just read this on Mashable:
New Android Market Coming Soon
15 minutes only is a regression! C'mon Google...be nice to your devs, yes..but make it consumer-friendlier too! :|
It seems that some people who are rooted are having problems with the install of the new market, including me on MIUI.
Here is a link from XDA of people who are having problems and possible fixes to get it working. I recommend anyone who is rooted to wait or Nandroid first. I am one of the people having problems and get getting constant FC's. Has to do with the permission.
[APK] New Market [11 dec 2010] - xda-developers
The update worked perfectly on my Galaxy Tab but not so much on my Nexus.
Confirmed...install fails on CM6stable.

If you're rooted and having problems installing, try this:
Download this zip file for the new market, put in the root of your sd without extracting.
Do a Nandroid backup!
Wipe data and cache from existing market app.
Use titanium backup and uninstall market (not a problem as you did a nandroid right?)
Reboot into recovery.
Choose install zip from sd card, and choose the zip file you downloaded. Let it install, then reboot phone.
Go to rom manager, and fix permissions.
Once that's done, reboot phone.
new market should work fine with no force close.
works great on my N1 on 2.2
