T-Mobile Confirms the Nexus One
A new screen capture leaked this morning indicates T-Mobile will release a new Android device in early January. A name was not mentioned in the leaked image, however it does mention the formal announcement will be made by Google. It also shows that support for this device including trouble shooting and exchanges will be managed by Google and HTC. T-Mobile will only offer service support including billing, coverage, features and rate plans. All signs are now pointing toward the Nexus One! January 5th is the rumored announcement date so stay tuned!

Yup I heard it will be sold at 9am but they didn't say if it will be PST or EST. I am betting PST due to google being on the West Coast.

Just saw a more in depth article on Cnet blog!!!
It also said 9AM release date! Does this mean that it ISN'T going to be invite only? Or its still going to be invite only?
This is killing me! I need to know if I have to wake up extra early on January 5th!

Report: T-Mobile ready for Google phone launch | Crave - CNET
The article doesn't state. But Google IS located in PST, so very possibly that? I hope so, because thats where I'm located!
All these details SEEMS to me like they would be selling it to the public, because T-Mobile is preparing for it.
