    SIM Contacts Not Showing Up

I got my new N1 yesterday and was very excited, however, none of my contacts and phone numbers on my old sim show up on my new phone. The only things that live in contacts are the hundreds of email addresses that came over from my gmail account. Does anyone know how to get my new phone to see my old phone numbers from the sim? I surely don't want to put them in by hand. Thanks. Fitz

Have you tried to import your sim details to your phone?

(open contacts; menu > import/export > import from sim card

If you've tried that and still no joy, you may have a compatibility issue.

Nexus One stores contact details in a vCard format and you sim details, maybe in another format.

    thanks

I appreciate your reply. No doubt a compatibility issue. There are other things that are bugging me too. I think I'll send it back, or is that an issue too? Ha.

You shouldn't get an issue in returning... :rofl3:

However, why don't you copy your contacts etc. onto your gmail account; then transfer / sync it onto the Nexus.... beats typing it in, one at a time.
