    You can make a folder in your root SD card called "VIDEOS" and drag drop video files on your computer to your SD Card. Than go on your phone and go to Gallery and select VIDEOS to view them.

    Ive tried that to convert my Avi. step by step and i just end up getting a black screen on my nexus one with the audio as a mp4 format.
    The mp4 file plays just fine on my computer tho.
