what was the flash back to 2.2 like?
I haven't had root before but if I had it I would get:

http://www.appbrain.com/app/titanium...aniumBackupPro
hope this gets your started :D
Really eh? what application did you use to do it if you don't mind me asking?

I don't have any must have apps in mind but for what you asked for battery use you could try setcpu (paid app) it will allow you to set different cpu speeds for different things like while the phone is on overclock for faster speeds while it is sleeping underclock to save battery and even underclock when the battery gets low. These are just examples you can set pretty much anything for anytime. And titanium backup can be used for backing up your data for a new ROM as well as to delete system apps and one last thing that I think of if you have clockwork mod recovery then you could get ROM manager for easer access to everything.
cool tx...got wifi tethering too
ill find something to remove meteo and news, goggles and amazon :P
* i like 2.2 better.. less buggy than 2.2.1. And the passimg is a charm ! XD
Soooo many apps now, ahhh, liberty .. woot ! root !
Thanks for taking the time to respond.
I will do some more research into superoneclick.. listening to iPeck here is making me really want to root my phone now more then ever haha.
Hopefully I don't wind up screwing it up

if you screw it up, dont worry, there are easy ways to get back on track, and with the help of our fellow members here, you'll be fine
titanium backup is what i used to remove the system apps
depending on the version of your rom, you can use superoneclick (2.2.1), universal androot or z4root.(2.2)![]()
