    Click their username, a dropdown has 'send a pm to user' or similar...

    You can also go to your UserCP (control panel), and select "Edit Options". From there, you can select a number of options, including who you can send or receive PM's from (or to).

    In fact, by poking around in the UserCP, you'll find that there's many things you can change to suit your preferences.

    i cant post with firefox. it says" message too short extend text to 10 letters or more"

    with i-explore it works

    There is a 10 character minimum here....in fact I'm surprised that it works in IE. Simple work-around is to add a buch of .........

    WERA, can you look into the following issues: Seidio banners block content in dropdowns (other banners okay), and despite any user control panel settings manipulation, threads often are not marked 'read' when they have been.

    edit: it occurs to me if could be a Chrome/FF/webkit thing, since I use Chrome.

    There is no fix for that. It's a flash problem, some ads are flash and are above everything else.. Nothing we can do to fix it.
