A friend of mine who works for Google got the phone from them and gave it to me as a present. The Nexus One is my first real smartphone (my previous phone was a Nokia N70, which I would not rate as smart :P ) so I can't compare with the iPod.
My experience so far has been very pleasant (have had it since last Sunday) and I love this phone.
