Greetings!
Hi everyone, i'm new and just introducing myself.
My name is Alex and I ordered the N1 the same day it was announced. I'm using it with T-mobile's 60/mo everything plus plan; the same plan I had with my iPhone. The switch was really simple. I just took the SIM out of my iPhone and popped it into the N1, called up T-mo and had them add the Android service package so I could use visual voicemail and that was it.
I am happy to announce that to this day I have not switched back to my iPhone. I won't lie, I still use the iPhone around the house as an iPod touch because there are some apps that I still enjoy. But really, the Nexus One just blows the iPhone out of the water.
Now all we need are some decent accessories. I can't wait for the car dock!

Glad to have you here, Alex! And also glad you're so happy with the N1.

First, make sure you have the Android data package added to your t-mobile account. It's doesn't charge you more than your current data package.
Then download the T-mobile Voicemail app from the Market.
Follow the instructions and boom!
It may take up to a day to activate but be patient!
Also you might want to disable the VM notification that's built into the OS as the T-mo app has it's own VM notification.

I forgot to mention that after you have Android added, you must log into your tmobile account and ADD visual voicemail into your services.

Ok. Thanks again. That helps. I just tried setting it up and was unable. I'll do it that way now and see if it works out.
