    Bad signal strength

Does anyone else experience real bad connections with t-mobile using their nexus? I have had t-mobile for a long time and this phone seems to not gain or keep signal as well as even the cheap phones I've had before. I can't sent MMS to emails through the phone's MMS system, and now my text messages are not even sending all the time. The signal drops often and I find that I have zero "bars" when I normall have a full set with other phones.

Is there any way I can get this fixed? I like the phone, but this is a very important aspect of having a PHONE!

Does nobody have the same problem or have any possible solutions for me? Is there an official forum for the N1?

You mention you have had T-Mo for years. When you got your N1, did you let them know you have it? There is a special data plan for N1s they will switch you to at no extra charge. I had some odd problems with my phone when I first got it until they switched me over from my old data plan. After that, it has worked like a charm with no more problems.

I've had quite a few too many GPRS for my liking.

    To keep 3g:

Go to phone > dial *#*#4636#*#* then go to Phone Info and choose WCMA Only.

This will keep you on 3G and force a better speed. If by chance you roam out of 3G coverage & find you need EDGE, you can easily switch back to WCMA Preferred.

I have never had a data plan before the N1, so yeah I'm pretty sure they switched me over to the right one. I went to the store and told them I had the phone and they switched me appropriately.

Maybe I could try forcing 3g? Would that allow for faster speeds? It doesn't fix the other problems, however.
