    While I haven't noticed this on mine, I have recently started using LauncherPro because, in addition to being a fabulous launcher, it has the ability to hide the notification bar until needed. I'm hoping this will help me to never have this issue.

    i have burn in at the top and bottom of the screen! My own fault, having tweetcaster running for long periods whilst at work!

    I assume there is no way to reverse the damage ?

    my notification bar on top is burnt in, but you can barely notice it....

    also i've read somewhere with LCD/plasma TV's one way to fix this problem is by putting a black screen on for a while, then switching it to white...they say it fixes the burnt image, but i never tried it nor i've seen it happen..good luck to the OP

    I believe the new version of Android changed the notification bar to darker color. If that is the case it will reduce the burn in on the notification bar.
