    Question Problem updating to 2.2

    I have a Nexus on T-Mobile with EFE27.
The boot rom is unlocked i believe and i have never put any other custom roms on it.
Although... I bought it from someone on craigslist. They claimed not to have tried to root it or anything else but apparently they unlocked the bootloader, i didn't.
So i've tried to update to FRF50 and it keeps aborting with status 7 error.
I've looked all over other forums for a solution but have yet to find anything.
I've tried updates for rooted & non-rooted phones.
From what i've read i'm supposed to use signed-passion-FRF50-from-ERE27.1e519a24.zip but that doesn't work either.
I completely understand how to actually flash it but it just never works.
Any help would be much appreciated!

You have to put the original recovery image in your N1. When you het this done, you can manually update to frf50.

You have to have the original shipping ROM:

    [ROM] Original Shipping - Tutorial - xda-developers

If you need the the adb command and fastboot, you can get it in all flavors here:

    24/Jun ERD79 -> FRF83 - Superboot - rooting the Nexus One - Android @ MoDaCo

Remember to get the original recovery image on your Nexus One.

Once you get all this done, you can get the first build of the Froyo (FRF50) and the updates.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Phooka,

I am trying to flash to ERD 79 from a EPF21B build. So far, i have unlocked my bootloader, but i can't make sense of how to go about flashing the rom to ERD79. i am currently downloading the ERD79 image, when it is finished, what do i do then? first time doing stuff like this.

I think that I received my update today. Now there are arrows showing when I placed (pointing out) a call and when I received a call (pointing in) and what else did the update do?????
