Failed rollback from WiFi to 3G

    Hello,

I've been suffering from radio issues with my rooted N1. The symptoms are slightly different from people on this thread:

    http://www.nexusoneforum.net/forum/n...-sleeps-6.html

So I started a new one.

My issue is as follows: after being connected to WiFi for a while (more than 1 hour, i.e.) if I leave WiFi coverage area, the phone doesn't roll back to 3G data connection. I have to manually reset the radio (switch on/off 2G data connection), and then, it enables 3G data mobile connection.

It's a serious issue, because I have WiFi at home & work, so half of the time my phone is without mobile data connection as I leave home or work.

My ROM is stock FRF83 with latest radio. I tried with wiped phone, but no luck.

    Thanks.

Tried two others custom firms with 2.2 and no luck.

Hardware issue maybe? My phone is with custom boot, I think repairing it's not an option anymore...

What else can I try? Full downgrade (radio, ROM, etc)?

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks.
