I had been a hardcore Nokia Fan and my past 7 phones have always been Nokia and never complained about it.. However when the Google Nexus One released.. I had to get it.. and it was definitely worth the change in loyalties.. .. i my phone..
But now I have a weird problem.. about 2 3 weeks back.. I was all hyped up about the FROYO update.. google had just put out an official download link.. and my friend had called me to inform me.. after speaking to him however.. I suddenly noticed my trackball had lit up.. and that too a Blue light.. I had never seen it do that.. (my phone is unrooted.. ran on stock android 2.1).. as far as I knew.. my phone couldn't light up "blue"!!!.. atleast thats what all the forums told me..
The blue trackball stayed lit.. and I couldn't figure out why it had come to life.. so i figured it probably was an update notification.. but no update came thro.. then I updated my phone manually.. and even after the update.. the blue-lite trackball glowed merrily..
Its been 2 weeks now.. the track ball has been blue-balled for all this time.. it switched off once.. but came back to life the moment I touched the screen..
Does anybody here have any idea what the problem is and what the solution might be?

A little reconfiguration of the home screen and widgets
And you should be good to go.
It'll take you about an hour tops on wifi
I know it sounds scary...but android is intuitive and doesn't require you to be a rocket scientist
search for the thread on factory reset if your feeling jittery!
I hardly ever keep my bluetooth switched on. I do have a bluetooth file share program on my phone. but i uninstalled it to check if it was the problem but to no effect. blue still shining bright.

One last ditch attempt...
It might be a rogue app...
1.Uninstall one application
2. Restart phone and check...
3. Repeat from 1. ...
Be intelligent while choosing which apps to uninstall....
If after uninstalling ALL your downloaded apps...
If your N1 still's blue
Alpha's probably right...
All the Best of Luck!
My prayers and best wishes are with you and your N1
man.. i'm gonna have to take a day off for that.. if alpha is right.. then i'm screwed cos aint got any service center in middle east that will correct it as its not released here.. well atleast i can always find my phone in the dark!
