Need help on installing Aman's recovery image

    Hi,

Kind of stumped installing Aman's Recovery image so I'm hoping someone could help.

    1. I unlocked the bootloader
    2. I ran Paul's Superboot for FRF91 and successfully have root (have superuser app and su privileges)
    3. Here is where I am stuck.... I downloaded Aman's recovery for Cyanogen and flashed it in XP (wouldn't work in Win7 x64). It gave the 2 ok messages in the command prop. Now when I try to boot into recovery to do a nandroid it just shows the android guy with the exclamation mark and no aman's recovery.

I really want to try CM 6 and I'm stuck here

    Thanks!

Are you using the latest recovery version?
    I believe this is the latest version [Recovery] [18-June-2010] RA-evo-v1.7.0.1 - xda-developers

also, make sure you have the latest fastboot and use that to flash it.

I suggest downloading "Rom Manager" from the Market and installing ClockWorkMod recovery from there. You can also install CM6 RC1 directly from the app. Plus different kernels, etc.

In Rom Manager I also have an option to flash Amon Ra's recovery but I think that's because I backed up Ra before flashing Clockwork.

Hmm. An outdated flashboot might be the issue. Definitely using latest recovery. Thanks! I'll try it tonight.
