    Angry Low on Space?!? i have 234M available!

    I've had the "Low on space" warning for the past couple days now and just now there is a new warning that said incoming messages are rejected due to low space...

    now... I advance killed all running apps and it show i have 234M memory available.... I've already deleted all my games and useless apps... I've just cleared ALL my text message box... cleared all cache... what else can i do???

    Just to clear, after doing that, you still get those low on space messages?

    Try a battery pull? If you are rooted you could go to recovery, bu, then clear cache only, then reboot.

    yes... still low on space message... i'm not rooted... i've taken out the batter numerous times.... =(

    The "Free Memory" that you're seeing is RAM not ROM.

    RAM is where stuff runs, ROM is where stuff is stored (semi-permanently).

    You need to remove some stuff from ROM. Move some apps to the SD card, delete some apps that you don't really need, clear the browser cache, delete some old SMS text messages.....

    Get the Android System Info application, it will show you the difference between RAM and "Internal Memory"

    He's not low on RAM memory, he's low on FLASH memory (internal storage).

    Get force apps2sd and one click root application with out unlocking boot loader. Then download quick app clean cache and your memory problems will be over.

    i cleared the 50MB of data from my "Papaya Farm" game and i think it's working now... at least the low on space message is gone... what does "clear data" do?

    The 50MB probably came from the SD card, since you only get a total of about 196MB of internal storage for everything.

    I would recommend that you get Android System Info and SystemPanel Lite. They will help you understand the internals of android.
