    Downgrade unbootable Nexus One

    Hi everyone!
    I have an AT&T Nexus one, Froyo 2.2 FRF91.

The thing is: Its unbootable, it freezes at the "x" icon at the start up (it vibrates once too). The only way to restart the phone is to take out the battery, but then it freezea again. Maybe 1 out of 200 tries it manages to boot the os, but it crashes again in a while.
My guess is that its a problem with 2.2 (maybe only with FRF91) because it didn't happen when I was on 2.1
Recently I flashed the recovery-RA-nexus-v1.6.2.img recovery flash.
The bootloader is unlocked. Also, I try to flash PASSIMG_Passion_Google_WWE_1.01.1700.1_ERD79_relea se_signed, but I alwas get the "Main version is newer" error.

What options do I have to downgrade my Nexus!?

Thanks in advance for any help

This is not a common thing associated with Froyo 2.2 so no need to downgrade.

Did this happen before or after you Rooted and installed a custom recovery?

Have you tried doing a factory data reset in recovery?

    Thanks for the reply!
It's not rooted. And this happen before I installed the custom recovery.
The problem started happening when using my 3G internet. I disabled the APN and mobile internet acces point and it ceased to happen (the reboots). But yesterday (foolish of me) I turned it on just to see what happen, and it rebooted and didn't enter the OS.
I cant access recovery. When I try to access it the phone freezes again in the X icon.

Edit: Sorry, yes I have done the "Clear Storage" action several times. Didn't help.

Well now I'm confused. You must be Rooted to install a custom recovery. How did you do this?

First I unlocked the bootloader, then I flash the recovery using the "fastboot flash recovery" comand. I followed the instructions posted here Step by Step Guide on How to Install Cyanogen Mod ROM on your Nexus One! | Nexus One Hacks Blog
    Step 1 and 2 only.

Also "Clear Storage" is not a "factory data reset". Look in your Recovery for the option that says Wipe Data/Factory reset.

Nope... feeling really stupid right now.
But I haven't flashed any zip file. The only file I flashed was that recovery-RA-nexus-v1.6.2.img (guessing it was a stupid thing to do...)

    Its cool man don't worry.

Are you able to get into recovery and try the Factory Data Reset?

Nope. I can enter the menu (Power+Vol down) and navigate. If I select Recovery the phone just restarts, vibrate once and freeze at the "X" icon...
