Sorry Wingod, if im not mistaken that is a side effect of rooting and cannot be removed i am guessing you are having to send it away?

First of all, are you rooted? If you are then you will not be able to remove it, what rooting does is give the user Admin privileges or Superuser as its used in android (and java) when you root you are given this to allow you to install special apps, roms and kernals all needing this superuser status.

but I thought I could unroot? I was using an app called "z4root". I used it to root and I used it to unroot. After I unroot, I couldn't remove "superuser" So I restored my N1 but seems not work. Whats other way to remove it? I am so regrets...

I really need to have my device 100% unroot. I not fee like it. I donno why the stupid z4root just attracted me in a sudden. I am soooo regret for rooting really, with this, i nearly want to stop using m N1 now. Do you think I can take it back to google for fixing? Sigh...

Sorry mate but it looks like you are stuck with it, i never had any faith in these apps that allow you to root and then unroot if you don't like it, looks to me that the app you used is mealy masking the benefits of being rooted but it cannot hide the superuser shortcut

Just reflash to stock image, and you're done...

    Step 5.4, unroot/restore.
Follow PASSIMG method (be careful with upper/lower case, because it has to be exact).

This will wipe your phone, so back up anything important...

Please follow danger-rat's advice. Nobby's statements are apparently focused deep, limited to considering "unrooting" to mean only backing out the rooting and leaving teh rest of the system unaffected -- and when limited to that use case, he's right in that you're stuck. danger-rat's advice will take you back to a factory condition (with one exception -- if you've unlocked the bootloader, it will still be unlocked).
