    Live Wallpaper disppears on reboot?

    Hey guys,

I downloaded some new live wallpapers from the market, but when I reboot my phone, it loads up with the factory installed live wallpaper with all the colorful dots racing across the screen.

I have a friend with a Samsung Captivate, and his reboots without changing.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

I always have to reapply my theme and/or live wallpaper after a reboot. Takes only a couple of seconds, so I've never looked for a way to avoid it.

Seems pretty stupid, it's just annoying more than anything.

Again, my friend's Captivate doesn't do this. So maybe this is a Nexus issue?

It's unfortunate that the only true Google phone is plagued by some sub par specs.

I don't feel that way at all! The specs are right up there with any other device out there, with the possible exception of screen size. The OS is not cluttered with somebody's "overlay"; which may account for the Captivate's behavior. If so, that's not worth the tradeoff to me.

How about the storage space? I think that alone is the biggest problem on our phones? 512MB, and out of that, you only really use 220MB?

Look, I'm not hating on the phone. I bought it after careful research. But let's just say, the N2 can't come any sooner!

Ok, I can't argue the on-board memory issue :D. I would wish either for more on board storage, or more apps that can be moved to SD.

Your live wallpaper Disappear because they are installed in your sdcard. The sdcard load after the operating system and that's why your live wallpaper doesn't load on boot.

Never happened to me though. Sometime it take time for the LWP to launch prior booting.
