Getting back, somewhat, ON TOPIC...are you guys suffering these issues using the older amoled screens, or the newer lcd versions? Wondering if there's a hardware/sensititvity difference..since I experience no strange behaviour on either of my units.

I think the hardware is not the problem. When I was on stock eclair back in Jan. I had no problems but later versions of CM etc have made it happen. I have also heard that the LCD screens have better touch sensors. My wifes Mozart is super smooth.
Was the only Australian N1 I have seen but my mate now owns one.

Going off topic a little but am I the only one who noticed that the forum has allot more issues with people not being so nice since the nexus S came along?

I'm not sure but I think that with the newer s-lcds they just changed the screen the digitizer stayed the same and if I'm not mistaken that is where the touch sensors are so I don't think there is any difference.

My SLCD N1 suffers from the bug quite badly. Numerous times a day I have to turn the screen off and on to reset it. Its quite aggravating, but I thank God for the trackball every day, as it lets me scroll and click links without needing to touch the screen.

The most annoying part is when I'm scrolling down a webpage and it starts zooming in or out randomly. Grrr

I noticed the problem a few months ago but its usually caused by extensive on screen usage aka setting the phone down for a bit whilst the screen was on then returning to it. But this was fixed by the lock / unLock fix :-)
