    Recovery from reset

My Nexus one reset itself back to factory settings (against my wishes) when the battery got too low.

I can still see applications I've added but many won't open. In particular Astro and Touchdown stop immediately.

Has anyone encountered this problem? Know how I can bring my applications back on line? Know how to prevent such a brittle response to low battery from occurring again or recover from it?

Did you see a white screen when you rebooted your phone recently with the 3 androids of the apocalypse on skate boards?

The app DB's probably got messed up. You can try clearing cache and dalvik, and if that doesn't work, then try clearing the data from the problem apps. Clearing data will loose all the settings and info in the apps, so do dalvik and cache first...

If you're rooted, then you can restore your latest backup...

    Isn't this just the bootloader?
Your best (only) friend when everything else fails...?

I do believe in the 3 androids of the apocalypse - appearing as androids, but really evil incarnate. Their names are Apple, Microsoft, and Starbucks... xD
