nexus one crashes when making/receiving calls via bluetooth

Device: Nexus one (frg83D), imported from USA
    Carrier: Bhartil Airtel
Country / Language: India / English
    OS / Browser / build number (if applicable): Android 2.2.1 / frg83d
Accessories : seidio hi capacity battery+back case and screen scratch guard

    Hello everyone,

My n1 freezes/reboots/crashes atleast 3 times a day when i accept calls or make calls via bluetooth headset. I tried on the Jawbone Icon and Jabra BT 2050.

When the phone is ringing and I press the accept button on my jawbone icon the call activates, i can hear the caller on the phone speaker ( not on BT headset ) but he cant hear me. All the touchscreen buttons and hard buttons stop working. Sometimes, when the phones locks up im able to hold power button and switch off the phone using the trackball. If this doesnt work which is most of the time, i remove battery and replace.

I've never modified or rooted the phone but I installed froyo manually when it was released.

This is the main reason for my shifting to nexus s soon.

    Please help......

Another program isn't playing nice my guess. I'd check to make sure it's only pairing with that device first, and see what else is requesting bluetooth access. Un-pair and re-pair that device and see if that solves the problem.

Take a log cat, and look for the red error messages...

I've tried hard resetting the phone and both the BT headsets, not working.

Now i'll try to check the log as suggested, thanks very much.

I'll let you know what happens.

Ok another thing that I might suggest is try a different head set and see if you get the same issue that way at least you will know if it is the headset or the phone.

    Locks up on bluetooth

My Nexus One does the same thing. I am trying an experiment.
The phone uses the Broadcom's BCM4329 Wireless transceiver for both bluetooth and Wi Fi.
I'm guessing that the bluetooth is being interfered by the Wi Fi causing the problem. My desk is right next to my Wi Fi router and the signal is very strong.
I'm going to use the phone for a week or two without bluetooth.
If you can do the same, we could have two data points if it works.
