    Unhappy phone won't start

    my phone won't start, it can turn on but it never gets past the picture with the swirling colors. it just started one day after i turned off my phone the night before. please help.

    Boot into recovery, and wipe cache and dalvik. If that doesn't work, you may have to wipe data, too...

    i can get into everything, its just that when i actually start the phone it stays in the part with the swirling colors and sometimes it will lag a bit then start all over, it just repeats that process over and over

    Just do a full wipe our factory reset, and you'll be fine. You're gonna lose your data and settings though...

    That's usually a quick fix.
    If a phone starts to lock up for no reason, it's probably just bad data from an app or something.

    Unfortunately, since you don't know which app, or whatever, then you'll be better just doing a full wipe...
