    Power Button

Im thinking of getting an HTC Sensation but wonder if it will have the same power button issue as the N1 , They look to both be built the same . Is the power button issue specific to just the N1 or all HTC phones ?

Until they made the nexus one they didn't have that problem but I would think they learned there lesson and are making them a little different now but I don't know for sure.

There is a website that takes apart phones and shows you what they look like inside. The problem with the N1 is the ribbon that connects to the power button is short and has a 90 bend very close to the power button. As a result it tears.

I'd look up that website and see if they've done a tear down of the phone. If so watch the video and compare it to the video of the N1.

Btw. If can be found on YouTube.

Nothing can be done then? I cant put the phone to sleep, or bring it out of sleep to the 'unlock' screen. I shudder to think what would happen if the phone was shut off..... I can answer calls when the screen lights up and I slide to unlock, then I am in my phone like normal....
    No parts are available?

If you root you can assign other buttons to perform the same task as the power button...
