    cant connect WIFI HELP!!

    sometimes when i turn on the wifi it says "error" and when it finally works, it kept on saying "obtaining ip address" and disconnect later on. it started to happen after i update to 2.3.4. is anyone else experiencing the same issue? any solution?
    i went to a phone shop and the guy said that it has to do with my software.

    What made the guy say it was software? Did he set up a logcat or connect it to a computer and issue adb or terminal commands or did he just say that because you told him you got the issue right after the update? AFAIK in local repair shops they don't do that for diagnostics but you never know.

    Anyway to fix it if it is software then try passimg there is a guide in this thread in the restore section http://www.nexusoneforum.net/forum/n...ne-oracle.html

    Is this problem with all wifi (your phone), or just a specific router (router problem)?

    mine is doing same thing it keeps saying error when I try to connect to wifi

    if I reset it it works once and then doesn't work again

    All wifi at work at home at my friends houses.

    It will connect once then if I disconnect and try again it says error. Then I have to restart phone same vicious cycle.

    no its not the router. both of my friends are using iphone. no problems what so ever.
    i told him that i just got it updated and thats when he said that the problem is my software. he told me to take it to the htc center. and its quite far. so im looking if there are any other solution to it. ideas?

    About the best I can suggest would be to do a passimg to a previous version and then run the updates again. This will wipe your data, and may not fix the issue, so HTC may be a better plan...
