    Unhappy Massive 'Contacts' memory increase

    Hi,

I've been using my Nexus one (not rooted) for just over a year now, without issue (Actually, I love it!)

However, I recently trimmed back some of the running apps off all windows, down to the middle three windows only, and I also installed and uninstalled the official Skype app in the last three days.

Basically, since have made these changes my contact storage is out of control, randomly changing size from it's original 18Mb upto 28Mb, and anything in between.

Can anyone help me please - It now won't even open my contacts.

    Thank you.

I would try clearing data from contacts, contacts storage and dialer then see what happens (just make sure your contacts are backed up to your gmail).
