    microSD Storage Problems

I powered off my phone and removed the microSD card to load some photos onto it that would be good backgrounds, etc.. When I put the card back in and powered on the phone, the gallery will not find any of the new pictures I added. Also, the folder in the gallery containing pics I had taken with the phone's camera is no longer there.

Anyone else tried this or has anyone experienced problems like this?

Any ideas if I did something wrong (I put the pics in the root of the microSD as I didnt see a folder caled "photos" or something like that)?

    thanks

    It's easy to overlook things....

I have my folders set up as

    Media
    >>photos
    >>wallpaper
    >>ringtones
    >>notifications

so for everyone out there, you may lose the hotos youve taken if you remove the SD card without unmounting it (even if the phone is powered off) and plug it straight into your computer. Use the included USB cable that I forgot i had, then its all good. :/
