    Need Help With The Alarm

This is my first week with the N1. When I first got the phone, there were two alarms set - 0830 Mon-Fri and 0900 Sat-Sun. I deleted both alarms. There is no alarm symbol on the clock page and no status symbol indicating no alarm has been set. Yet all this week the 0830 alarm goes off. I am waiting to see if the 0900 alarm will go off this weekend. I have not done any resets. I have only turned off the phone (removed battery) and turned it back on - this did not help. Any suggestions?

I'm think a factory reset might do the trick. But just wait for more posters' suggustions first.

I believe that might work - but like you said - I'll hold out for something less drastic.

Cool. If you do decide to do a factory reset, remember that all your downloaded apps will be saved in the market under downloads. You just have to reinstall them. And you don't have to repay for the paid apps. Anyways good luck and keep us posted.

Try adding / modifying your alarm time to another time, see if it takes it.
This may override the original, which appears to be stuck in memory.

Then delete the new alarm time... see if that is okay.

If not, then yes a factory reset maybe in order!! (back up everything)

I didn't know that about the apps and a reset - Thank you.

I am going to try to set different alarms now - but I don't think I will really know if that works until Sat. at 0900 or even Mon. at 0830. I will post.

Update - I WAS going to add and delete an alarm - I went to the clock page - touched the alarm icon - and found that the 0830 alarm and 0900 alarm majically reappeared - and only the 0830 alarm was on. When I checked this morning (After deleting these alarms yesterday and after the mysterious 0830 alarm went off this morning) this page had NO alams. So - I (just now) opened each alarm - changed the time by one munute - clicked done - then deleted each one again.

There are a lot of Ones and Zeros floating around in there - perhaps a couple of them got stuck. Crossing my fingers.

Maybe instead of deleting them, you can just turn them off. That way they won't alarm, yet if the phone needs something there (who knows why, but they did re-appear on you) it will be there, just not enabled.

    Hi Maris,

Earlier in the week I tried just turning then off and leaving the entries in place. That did not work - the alarm sounded anyway. Then I deleted the alarms - That didn't work either - The alarm sounded anyway - even though there was absolutely no indication of ANY alarm anywhere on the N1. So far after changing the alarms (after they majically reappeared) and the deleting them - they have not reappeared. I hope I will not here any alarm over the weekend and again on Monday morning. Thanks.
