    Nexus One completely unresponsive

I was using it earlier today and it was working perfectly fine.

The device is powered on, but the screen will not come on. I cannot shut the device off either. The power button is doing nothing except for lighting up the touch buttons above the trackball. It will not turn the screen on, and will not give me options to shut the device off. I'm just sitting here with a device that is turned on but can do nothing with it, including shutting it down..

    Few things...

    1) You have recently installed a new market app?

    2) Remove battery for three minutes then power backup.

    3) Factory reset... back up everything as always!!

I did install a new app. I simple note taker. I read up on how to do the soft reset (power, -volume, and trackball). That worked perfectly. I think maybe I left an app open (the note taker) and it caused a system hang?
