    Exclamation DST issues

Anyone having problems with the Nexus One (and MyTouch 3G) not properly changing the time after the switch to DST?

I live in EST, and when I check "automatic (use network provided values) in settings > date & time, instead of 'GMT-04:00, Eastern Daylight Time,' my phone uses GMT-05:00, Central Daylight Time. This screws up the date stamps in GChat and the calendar! Any ideas?

It sounds like your network hasn't update their time stamp. (which I doubt).

If you call your cell does it show the right time?

With my previous SE w850 phone, even though I had it set for 'use network..'
it didn't update until I received a call on the day change or sometime during that same day.

I never figured out why, just got used to it.

Everything shows the right time, just the date stamps are screwed up if I use the "automatic settings" -- the clock and call logs show the right time, but the calendar times and text message/email/gchat time stamps are incorrect. Weird right?

Just to confirm it's not a software glitch, remove the battery for three mins.
then replace and power on the Nexus again...

I don't think a factory reset is needed (only a last resort).
