    Gmail Addressbook

Is there any way to view a list of contacts when sending an email on the G1? I can start typing and a list of possible choices will appear, but how about just clicking something list "View Contacts" and then being able to select all the people I want included?

In your 'Display Options' within your contacts, are your 'All other contacts' checked?

Contacts menu > menu > display options > highlight email account > All other contacts.

    Yes.
But now open Gmail, hit compose. You have your To field. How do you fill it? You can start typing, but I would like a list of my contacts to pop up so I can select from the list.
Anyway for this feature to be available? It is pretty standard on every other email program ever.

By the way -- I have an N1, not G1.

    Thank you for the reply.

The best way to achieve what I believe you want...

Make sure your contacts default numbers are set as 'Mobile'; not work, home etc.

    Try that!!

Go to your Contacts first, select your contact, and then start the e-mail? Work backwards...
