    Where's the "H" symbol

My Nexus One just arrived yesterday, loving it so far

I'm a former Hero owner on Rogers in Canada. On my Hero I would see an "H" symbol indicating I'm on HSDPA (3.5G I think). Or I'd see the normal "3G" indicator. On the N1 I haven't seen H yet, even though my Hero would get it in the same location.

Does the N1 not show the H symbol? I can't believe it's no capable of those speeds. I'm using the new unlocked version sold directly from Google.

the nexus is capable of that speed i think u need to root and put the cyanogenmob to actually see the "H" icon on the notification bar

just try using a speed test with the phone and see ur download speed

The stock rom shows 3G no matter if you are in HSDPA or not. Cyanogenmod will show you the H.

Yeah stock Android doesn't display the "H" in my settings it says I'm on HSDPA. I'm getting 2.36 mbps down and 1.30 mbps up.

I'm not rooted, but when I look at my phone status, it says I'm connected to HSDPA on Mobile network type. So am I on H network or not?
