    phone went dead

    hello,i just took my battery(which ive done a few times)out to take memory card out and put music on it,when i put battery back in the phone wont start up,it has just been fully chardged 5 minutes before,i put charger lead back in to try again but i'm not even getting orange/green light,please help as ive paid a lot of money for it and hope its not broke already

    First; you don't need to remove the battery to access the SDcard, every time you want to transfer music onto it. By using the supplied USB cable, transferring, deleting etc. is much easier.

    Second; have you installed the battery correctly?

    That's really strange. Besides making sure the battery is in right, make sure your contact points on the phone are clean and not bent. Make sure the contact points on the battery are clean too.

    Other than checking physical things, I have no idea how that would happen.

    as if by magic its working again but although it wasnt getting used till about an hour ago (2 text messages)ive lost 20% of battery??checked to see whats eating it and its the display(60%)even though its at its dimmest,may have to buy another battery perhaps the 1600??see if that helps lol,

    When you are taking out the SD card, you unmounted it in Settings - SD card and phone storage right? Idk where but ive read that we should do that

    Great ^^ Thats what i do :P I've never removed the SD card :P But i am going to cus im getting a 16GB :O
