    unlocked one from ebay uk contacted htc and got settings no probs at all
    I meant which version (for other UK buyers)..the TMO version, or the ATT version, and do you get 3G?

    not sure which one it was and yes i have 3g since i rooted it says H most of the time

    If I remember correctly when I was in the UK...

    T-Mobile like most (if not all) of the carriers use 2100MHZ and therefore the first generation Nexus One will be the one that should work with 3G.

    I'm using a original nexus one, so the t-mobile version, on tmobile in the uk, and it works super, so thats the one you want jodznsez

    Yes, for Europe or Wind Mobile Canada you need to select the T-Mobile version, and I believe Asia as well.
    It's just Telus and Rogers Canada that require the ATT version Hope that helps!
