Anyone Know The Answer To This?

    I have a question.

I bought my Nexus One from Google with a T-Mobile new account. After a week I canceled my contract with T-Mobile. I got my Att sim card and have been using that ever since.

My question is....When ota updates come how will I get mine? The Tmobile number has been canceled so google or whoever sends out the updates don't have my AT&T number.

Just wondering if anyone happens to know. Thanks for your time.

It doesn't matter what SIM you have in it. Think of it this way, the people who bought the phones without contract (the $529 versions) don't share the phone number of their SIM with Google at the time of checkout, and yet they still get the OTA updates.

The phone communicates with the Google servers regardless of whether you use the SIM the subsidized version ships with or a regular T-Mo or AT&T SIM.

    You don't have to worry

I can speak from experience. I had an AT&T SIM in my original T-Mobile Nexus One when the OTA update was released. I was actually the first person on this forum to post when the update was pushed to our phones. I doubt that had anything to do with AT&T though.
