I do it using the CardioTrainer app and it works nicely. I leave the phone inside myNike Running Shorts pockets (with zipper). I also have a Motorola S9 bluetooth headphones to listen to music, which also work great!

I've done it using a stop watch app. I'll have to try cardio trainer. Using the soft rubber case allows me to hold it in my hand while running (my new shorts don't have pockets...damnit!) and it works fine. The headphones I have suck tho. The ones that came with it need constant readjusting and the in ear ones I have still come out when my arm hits the wire and pulls one out. I'm looking at some sennheiser athletic ones, but don't have the $$ right now. Would love bluetooth ones, but that's even more unrealistic in my situation....can't wait til fathers day!
