    Lose the Trackball or Keep?

Sometimes I get tired of the trackball since I don't use it very much. There hasn't been a game or app where the trackball is actually vital. Would you want to lose the trackball and shrink the Nexus One physically in size? The screen size will stay the same. If you were given this option would you?

I would keep it because I like the notification colors and using the trackball to wake the phone.

Agreed. I love the Trackball for that reason. It's nice and bright and easy to see across a room. Normally I have my phone on vibrate and use the Trackball colors to determine whether or not it's worth it to check the phone.

For example... work email on a Saturday. Not worth it! :rofl3:

It also helps me navigate from hyperlink to hyperlink (the tiny ones) without having to zoom in.

I'd keep it for the Trackball notifications, for copy&paste text, navigate through websites, and just to press on it instead of using the screen.

    trackball wake
    trackball notifications
navigating on websites (i have big fingers, somtimes faster and easier than pinch-zoom)
ive also noticed some places with passwords or other input are easier moved from place to place briefly while the keyboard is up.
Games like Asteroids utilize the trackball I believe
    Nexus One and luvin it

The trackball is wonderful. No reason to remove it.

Do you really think that the phone is too big? (to Eddie)
