    Question Signal Booster?

Has anyone used any Antennas like these shown below?

    Google Nexus One Antennas

I'm trying to boost the Reception in my Basement. I know these are Car antennas with the exception of the lil Chip that goes behind the battery.

These Antennas seem Too Good to be True so I'm wondering if anyone has tried them and can share they're experience...

Just keep your hand away from the base of the phone under the battery cover, that'll give you a decent boost of reception during calls.

I posted a photo a little while back of a page in the tiny booklet that comes with the phone that confirms this:

Nothing is perfect, but we must not lose faith in perfection. If we did, everything would be a whole lot worse than it is now!

antennas need power, they need to attach to your device be it a radio or a cell phone they need power to transmit and receive, I do not see any port on the Nexus one or almost all other phones either for an external antenna, older model yes they had a port in the back where you could plug in an external antenna, but hey its your money.

P.S. Don't mistake a repeater for an antenna, they are different.
