    I FEEL like Google should work to resolve and enhance user control/expectation over spurious apps. For example, my phone is only Google branded..why does 1) AMZ MP3 exist in the OS? 2) NOT user removeable? (sans rooting), 3) Self-launch multiple times daily, and at every boot? etc. etc.
    Google wants to partner...fine, but don't tie my device, my resources, to an app I prefer to eliminate..they should not prevent me from doing so. (It smacks of 'evil', imho.)
