    SOLVING N1's PROBLEMS WITH 2.2 FROYO

    We have seen the tremendous number of postings under the Issues & Problems section of this forum. At the moment it seems that the N1 is still a very buggy phone & with 2.2 Froyo's SW upgrade be able to solve the issues the N1 is having now.

    Even without Froyo the Nexus One is the perfect phone for me. I bought it with the idea that even if it never got another update I would be happy with it, which I am

    one small enhancement that I noticed from looking at engadget's photo gallery is the inclusion of copy and paste in gmail app. You can see from the menu key in the app you get a choice of select text which I guess could only be so that you can copy. A small thing but one quite a few have griped about.

    I think there will be a full revolt if Google does not include that...

    That's one of the features I've really been waiting for.
    I am not technical - but I would have thought that things like enabling the trackball and fm transceiver would be a firmware update for the phone rather than the OS itself. e.g the HTC desire runs the same OS as nexus and has has the same chipset, yet has the fm radio enabled - so it is just running different firmware??

    Maybe uncle goog will release a firmware update at the same time as the new OS is pushed to nexus
