    Unhappy Multi-touch controls?

Hi, I've been playing Zenonia, Real Football 2010, and Gameboid (Pokemon brings back good times ;D) on my brand new nexus one. However, I've seem to noticed that the on screen controls requiring multi-touch, such using the analog control and the other buttons at the same time (ie running while passing the ball), generally do not work very well. For example, when I am using my analog control to run around, sometimes when I press the "A" or "B" button it doesnt sense it or my guy stops running or I pull off some crazy move that I did not intend to. I've worked with my old iPhone 3GS with multitouch games similar to these ones and they've seemed to work perfectly fine...
So is it just I'm not used to the N1 screen, or is it the developpers that made not-so-perfect games? Or is there something wrong with my screen D:?? (Hopefully not). Anyone else noticed these problems?

Hope to hear some feedback !

    it's your screen. sorry
If I had to name my greatest strength, I guess it would be my humility. Greatest weakness, it's possible that I'm a little too awesome.

Regard gameboid, yea my pokemon trainer tends to run downwards when i try running by pressing B+ direction.

Its much better if you allocate the d-pad and buttons on the opposite corners of the screen

Also, there is an update for Gameboid, I found it in general, works better than before.

It really does come down to how well a program is written too, some multitouch apps have very little error, while others go crazy when you just add one more touch input (thats not even with movement! Just touching!)

    I'm running android 2.1

Thanks FC1032 its a relief to hear that its not just my phone that has that problem, at least in the gameboid. No wonder the default controls were opposite corners xP

Ah well I hope its just a software issue...

    Your welcome!

Apparently, the problem comes from the touch sensor (synaptic clearpad 2000, I think). Its only designed for pinch-zoom.

It starts to get confused when rotation occurs and the points flip. You can search multitouch tests on the market to see it. There are also many videos showing this on youtube.

But on a day to day basis, its fine (gaming might be a little annoying). As I said before, the software is a major factor itself. Multitouch tests from the market are much more stable than multitouch paint (which can easily go bezerk...)
