Half my contacts on my sim card didn't show up on my nexus so I've tried entering them manually but everytime it says contacted saved but is nowhere to be found on my phone. If I type the number in though of one of the contacts that I've entered it says there name under it , so it's in there somewhere.

that happened to my friend at work. He tried doing full data reset, that didn't fix the problem. he finally just had google send him a new phone and returned the bad one. best of luck finding a solution, sorry to hear about you having that unlucky problem.

Be sure to read the manual..it describes the process and accounts to display. Most use gmail contacts to seemlessly get their contacts added to the phone.

To repeat a previous post: set up your contacts via your PC on Google Mail, they will appear almost instantly on the N1.

If you go to Contacts/Display Options, you can see what you are displaying. Click on your google account and make sure you are showing all the labels you want to display. Most likely new contacts are added to the "My Contacts" system group. So make sure you display that one. I would just create these on the computer using gmail.com's contact manager. It's much easier this way. Then they will just show up automatically.
