No one is forcing you to download or use these Roms or Apps. Lol its all about choice. Why not become a Dev yourself and come up with something Unique on your own?

    [ROM] CM11 Nightlies

    [TABLET] Nexus 7

Whilst I kinda agree with your point (if I wanted something to look like an iPhone I would have got one) No one is forcing you to download them, devs are gonna make stuff like this to get downloads off people. S'all good.

I have never owned an iPhone & never had a desire to own one.
Until the Nexus One I considered myself a CrackBerry. Had been using them for years.
Now the keyboard on the Nexus One took some getting use to and ... gasp ... I downloaded an app to replace my keyboard and the setting I can type the easiest with is ... gasp ... iPhone setting.

which keyboard did you download? i have said time after time, nothing beats the iphone's keyboard, and this is from my short experience in using a friend's from time to time. if the keyboard would improve on the nexus, it'd be perfect

for the original post, i agree with you too. that's why i stopped using handcent and am using stock messaging

i was using swype, but there were too many mistakes, the stock keyboard is faster b/c at least it guesses the correct word. the swype guesses werent as good

I am using Smart Keyboard Pro - works great. The paid version has the voice input like the stock Nexus One keyboard.
