Measure Bandwidth Used by each App

I have tried a number of network bandwidth monitor apps but they only measure the amount of data sent over wifi or 3g - none that I have seen will tell you how much wifi/3g data traffic is being used by individual apps.

Because I keep exceeding my data plan I need to find out which app is hogging my 3g data allowance - even though I have either removed or disabled any suspect apps my N1 is still able to eat up 2Gb of data in about a week.

Does anybody know of an app that will report the amount of data that each of the apps on my N1 are using ?

    Thanks

    TBird1

I have the same problem, I'd like an app like this too.

Buy it, touch it, use it,
    charge it,
app it, mod it, root it, format it...technologic

That shouldn't be that hard to find.... that's a LOT of data.

I use the phone a lot and barely use 1GB in a month.

Search for the "spare parts" in the market.

Once installed go to battery history then in the top dropdown box use network usage.

It will show a bar graph/list of sorts of the apps using data. Click on that app and it will show you how many bytes were sent and received.

Sorry found it. I am also using APNdroid to block network access.

Excellent recommendation - Got "Spare Parts" from the market and it allows me to see how much data each app is using - brilliant. Found I had a newsreader I had forgotten about - un-installed it and my bandwidth useage is now back to normal.

    Thank you.
