My fix for accidentally hitting the home button when using the trackball.

I got fed up enough to do something about it. I have pics of the process if anyone is interested. It's basically some quality time with painter's tape, epoxy putty, a $5 ebay case, and a dremel.

Also, does anyone else wish the trackball had a bit more resistance? It feels loose and sometimes reacts opposite in direction to my input.

Your fix was to totally remove it? Did you cut the bottom piece of the phone away and then epoxy it back? I'm not sure what to say.

Looks like he built a "berm" out of epoxy between the trackball and the home keys. Am I wrong?

That's what it looks like to me.

On trackball related note, is there a way to make it more sensitive? I find it's too unresponsive for my liking.

Absolutely right. And it's attached to a $5 ebay case, so no harm done to the phone.

Yeah, it does look crappy at the moment. I'm sure that can be fixed with some spray paint, but I don't feel like running out to get it.

Love the comments, though. I forgot what serious business the Internet is.
